Friend's bunking up. (Kayla Briggs)

After setting the alarm, he proceeded to lay in the same bed as Kayla, the only bed in the room, after taking off his shirt and pants, he slowly slid under the covers beside her. He got a slight laugh from her reply, she seemed to enjoy his little truth about her skin as he looked at her, who was peering to the ceiling, and wondered what exactly she was thinking about. He put one arm behind his head, elbow seemed to be in a triangle type of shape as it stuck out; his other remained on top of the covers. It truly had seemed like a long day, perhaps the next would be better.

Kayla felt smiled at Cody as he looked up at the ceiling and lipped under his arm and put her head on his chest. Shesmiled at him and gave him a light kiss on the cheek. "You going to sleep?" she asked in a whispered sweet voice.

Cody felt her head rest on his bare chest, at the time he had been thinking about Scarlet, and what exactly she had wanted from him, and why she didn't attack him right there in the cafe. He slowly looked to Kayla and smiled at her response.

"I was thinking about it, why? Did you have something else in mind?" He asked her, unsure of what her answer would be. Although he did have an idea, he did not want to blurt it out.

she gave a smile "Well I don't know. If you are going to sleep. Then I wont bother you." she said playfully and kept her head on his chest.

He smiled back at her. Almost as soon as she said it, he knew what she was talking about, just in her tone alone. He looked at the top of her head as it continued to lay on his chest, and then slowly pulled her up, closer to his face as he looked deep into her sexy hazel eyes. "I'd enjoy this option a lot more"

Kayla giggled a little bit and smiled as he pulled her up to him and was looking him straight in the eye. She leaned forward and kissed him lightly on the lips. "Well you know I wouldn't want you to strain yourself." she said sarcastically and then wrapped her legs around his waist.

He smiled a little at her comment. How could anyone strain themselves at that activity? He did not know. A slight blush came over his cheeks as she wrapped her legs around him, feeling a little aroused, he pulled her on top of him as he began to slowly kiss her neck, and then moved down to just above her collarbone, gently sucking the skin giving slight bites to the area as it appeared to become redder and redder.

Kayla felt his warm breathe on her neck and she moaned in the back of her throat as he kissed her neck and worked down. All the thoughts of the earlier day escaped her thoughts and it was just her and Cody there together.

Cody had not done this this many times in a row before, he appeared rather drained from that much 'stimulation', but he continued anyway; would not want to disappoint her, especially in bed. He enjoyed that moment that they appeared to be frozen in at that time, not even witch hunters would be able to break it.

As Kayla moaned, Cody felt his boxers begin to 'bulge' as he continued nipping at her collarbone, slowly making his way down her chest. Moving so slowly, he appeared to be standing still, but he was doing a lot more then that to Kayla: his hands were on her back, slowly massaging as his lips and teeth continued to bring a lot of passion to the situation.

Kayla let her hand wonder on Cody's chest and she wrapped her legs around his waist tightly and she felt all of her feelings toward him expand and grow. She knew in that instant that she loved him. Even more then she did when she had fallen for him all those years ago.

Cody kissed her, gently, but passionately, as he slowly felt her legs wrap around him again, although tighter this time as his boxer shorts were getting bigger and bigger the tighter she held her body to him. He looked to her after he pulled away slightly, her eyes were just so... amazing. He thought, bringing his hands up by her thigh, and then higher as he pulled down her underpants, tossing them aside onto the floor beside the bed. As she straddled him, he felt himself slide into something.. warm. And continued to kiss Kayla immense passion between the two.

A few hours later.


The sun was now rising, as both lay in the bed, seemingly they appeared to have clothes on under the covers, but not everything is what it seems.

Kayla woke up as the sun was rising and she kept her eyes shut just enjoying the feeling that nothing could ruin the feelings between her and Cody. She had a feeling that something bad would happen today but she was not going to deal with that till she absolutely had to.

As Cody's eyes had soon broke open, breaking the seemingly thin layer of sleep which covered them, he looked around for a few seconds, making quick glances in every direction before noticing Kayla. She was still lying down in bed beside him, for how long she had been awake; he did not know.

The sun, however, must have risen only about a half our prior to him awakening, because there was still little darkness outside, some shady parts being lit up by the light. He continued to lie in bed for several more minutes, changing his attention from the window, to Kayla, then back to the window every few.

Slowly moving his warm hand over onto Kayla's shoulder, he rubbed it a little, trying not to wake her if she was already asleep; but allowing her to know he was awake if she had been.

Kayla smiled and slowly opened her eyes and looked into Cody's as he rubbed her shoulder. "Morning" she whispered softly and smiled at him. The night prior had been so amazing for her, but she always got scared that the feelings were different for Cody. But she guessed that was mainly from the situation and the fact that she was too much of a chicken to tell him how she felt.

Kayla's reaction surprised Cody a little bit, causing his hand to jump from her shoulder and nick her ear. A small 'sorry' came from his mouth followed by a little laugh. He had soon pulled his hand away after that, followed by 'morning' back to her befpre he pulled her hair back behind her ear and kissed her gently. "That was amazing, last night" He told her in a whisper, trying not to ruin the moment. He dared not go out again for breakfast, after the other day when he ran into Scarlet at the coffee shop, he was liable to do it again.

Pulling the sheets back, soon, he rose out of the comfort of the bed, sitting up: he wiped the sleep out of his eyes before turning back to Kayla who still appeared to be laying in bed.

Kayla laughed silently and giggled. "Yeah it was" she said softly and he got up she still laid on the bed. She was trying to get up the nerve to tell him how she felt but like every other time, she chickened out and didn't want to ruin it. She rose from the bed and out her arms around his shoulders, rubbing them absentmindedly.

He, Cody, was about to stand up and make his way over to begin brewing the two cup coffee maker that resided in every room; until Kayla began rubbing his back: it felt nice, the touch of her small, but warm gentle hands on his stiff back from the night previously.

He soon glanced over his right shoulder, her head coming into the corner of his sleepy eye. "Thanks.." He replied, laying one of his hands on top of hers. His back began to feel better, however; whether from the massaging or something else, he had no knowledge of.

Cody was not sure how his feelings were of Kayla, he knew he liked her, and that he had fun with her. Whether he actually loved her, was unclear. He was always too thoughtful about witch hunters that were following him, he forgot what it was like to love, or even to have fun; which he seemed to know how to in the past few days.

Kayla kissed Cody's cheek and got up to get dressed and get her clothes on. She pulled on her shirt and her shorts on. She went into the bathroom to do her hair and when she came out she said "So are we gonna practice today? Or do you have other plans?"

Cody sat there; motionless, as Kayla seemed to move around him at what appeared, to him, as super-speed. He looked as though just standing still: thoughts had begun racing through his head after he had laid his hand upon her's. What were his true feelings, he had never thought about what they were, after they had parted ways in the town a few years back; or rather, after Kayla had left him in the town.

He decided upon figuring out his true feelings before moving any further in this relationship, and so time had then went back to normal; whether he had used some power to make it slow down absentmindedly or not, nobody knew. Staring at the wall infront of him for a couple more minutes, not thinking about his feelings - no, his thoughts were concentrated on the Witch Hunters, but mostly just one hunter. Scarlet. The one who had tracked him down, whom he had ran into accidentally at the coffee shop the day prior, how the hell did she do it; he did not know.

Kayla had escaped from the rickety, grimy bathroom soon-after, her hair was all done up which did not appear to take very long, although in his time loop thought process, he did not know how much time had elapsed. Finally taking his eyes off of the wall ahead of his face, he looked to her. "Actually. I was thinking of going out today, maybe see if there is somewhere around that other witches could be hiding out." He paused slightly, rubbing the back of his head, "When I ran into Scarlet, she sounded like there were other witches in town, maybe they would be held up there."

Kayla turned to look at him as she fixed her appearance in the mirror. "Other witches?" she asked thoughtfully. "That would be very productive." she said thinking about where they could be. For all she knew they were all over town.

Cody saw as she looked at him through the mirror: she was so beautiful, standing there in her sexy small shorts and her tank top. His eyes appeared to meet with hers through the mirror as he, too looked into it. "yes, it would" He replied, laying his back down onto the bed, spreading his arms out to the edges. "I will probably be gone all day, so don't wait up" He told her. Cody was sure that she was going to worry about him, and why wouldn't she? He had a feeling that she liked him more then friends, and he the same: whether or not he had actually figured it out or not, nobody was sure; not even himself.

"OK" she said. Of course she was going to worry about him but she wasn't going to come out and say that. "I will probably go out and look around town." so if I am late you know why." she gave him a smile and went to grab her jacket. "I think I'll get started early. Unless you need me for something?" she said in a questioning tone. She need to get out and get some air. She walked over to the door and waited for his answer.

He smiled at her as she walked over to grab her jacket. He knew that she would worry, ever since he had mentioned to her about the witch hunter that she would worry about him more then herself, and that made both of them a liability to each other: He would worry about her more then himself, as would she vice versa. He sat up, then, and looked to her as she stood by the door. "Yea, one more thing" Cody stood up, and walked over to her rather quickly, and swept her up in his arms then began kissing her very passionately for a minute or so, before pulling away. "Just a little something to... think about" He mentioned, smiling at her with lipstick on his lips from hers transferring.

Kayla smiled as she kissed him back. She felt a blush creep to her face. "Be careful." she said and kissed him on the cheek. The she pulled the door open and stepped out into the sun. She looked back at the door and thought about the kiss. Then she looked at her surroundings and headed off into town.

Cody soon looked at her, locking stares as she warned him, more of a caring warn then anything. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine" He said back to her, running his hands throughout her brown, silky hair that smelled somewhat like watermelon; one of the reasons he enjoys watermelon so.

After she had soon departed from the room, he latched the door and went into the washroom to have his shower, style his hair, the usual; before coming out and getting dressed, throwing on his leather bomber jacket before departing as well.
